it was an accomplishment doing what i did this morning, so proud of meself. of course, thanks to theBoy for being there with me. the results of this morning? i'm crossing my fingers, hoping for good news. a change would do me good.

the weekend looks packed. shoot tomorrow with ianian and familia, babyvisit at din's and dinner with the noons familia. sunday is an ol'friend's wedding, and then lepakism with the girls and then mommy's day dinner with both sides.

the day went by pretty fast. i only did ONE task at work and the rest of the day left me idling away, buang masa aku ajer. rushed to make a pitstop to get two tops at DP and then rushed home.. she's been asleep since i came back. :( can i please wake her up?

i think i just might. geram!!

i've never been away from her for more than 3 hours, and tomorrow i'll be away from her for probably more than 12 hours.

it's like she knows what lies tomorrow. dahlia kept herself awake from 4.30pm till just about 10 minutes ago.. refusing to be lulled, swung, cradled to sleep. so between 4.30pm up till 11pm, three feeds, one direct latch on and lots of playing and cooing. i was worried it might be colic (but she didnt cry at all) or indigestion (we changed from the normal pink dolphin to the one with added prebiotics which apparently will help with digestion, and she pooped three times yesterday.. and none at all today) so i lathered on the telon. she kept on burping and farting but still no poop...

uptill when i carried her in her latest favourite position (macam budak besar, tak nak kena cradle lagi), sang to her our favourite sunshine song.. i realised something.

that all she wanted was to waltz with me while i put her to sleep, at the end of the day..

over the past few days i have actually drafted a nice long entry on notepad, because as we all know, having a 2month old in the family means constant interrupted internet usage. so when i planned on writing a whole lot of mishmash on her updates henceforth, i think i'll save it for another day.

we were in the car the other day and he pointed out that the lyrics were aptly made, for babies. how true.

i always wonder what goes through her mind when she looks around, when she gazes into our eyes. what is it about our silly antics that makes her chuckle and smile, or when it is not us who are entertaining her, who else is there that makes her respond with her hands flailing and legs kicking..

i start work tomorrow, and i'm trying hard not to feel sombre and forlorn. but how to, when colorblind is on loop and here i am lying in bed looking at her sleep peacefully like that?
