night time terror vs madras' chai tea a bit of googling and i realise it is a phase afterall, probably a sense of wonderment and retracting what she's done in the day.. and all summed up in that short sleep she had. we try as much not to throw in the bottle, because we don't want to promote tooth decay. so the next best thing is to squeeze two bear-like beings with one small teddy bear in the middle. top it up with an awkward sleeping position and you have someone with a bad backache reading your RD jokes' submissions. you can never go wrong with madras. we've never actually ordered anything that we didnt like. and we've never stopped at ordering once hehe. it's nice to know their resident rajnikanth recognises us from the many times we've been there. this time, i thought it was a bit too early for mango lassi. but they surprised us with their fresh vadais this morning. i doggybagged two, but left it in the car only to realise when i entered the office lift :( we wondered as we sipped our chai teas, if madras will still be here to cater to our early morning best in the world dosai cravings in 2035, and if our little terror will enjoy madras' food as much as we do. hopefully so, eh? :) Labels: 1-2yrs, chowtalk, smugmarrieds and i miss you so the melodrama cynic in me posed this question on msn to the boy the other day, both of us at up to our necks with our individual pile of workload.
cynic: when do you miss me, sayang? ... ... a moment of silence, so i was thinking he was also being melodramatic. and then he keys in this. theBoy: sometimes lah in the day..... when i'm horny nak ngetsek** gee thanks eh -_- anyway he redeemed himself and said he misses me when he comes back home late and i'm already asleep and he wants a cuddle. heh. so sayang, wake me up whenever you're back home late and need a cuddle. i'm no longer a phonecall away :) **ngetsek - for the uninitiated, ngetsek in theBoy's dictionary simply means, to bonk :) Labels: smugmarrieds, theBoy
