i have a whole load of backlog posts in draft but this has got to be published first. it's not big news.. but today she's started to tateh with just one hand! i've got to get her on video! UPLOADED! tomorrow.. she's toddling already, too fast!

the last whole week with my baby before wednesdays and thursdays start, amongst other things.
we had a sentosa picnic planned on wednesday afternoon but it rained and rained so we headed to vivo for a bit, and then to earle swensens at t3 for dinner with zain and parents, and faiz and sheila.
and then we met the girls on thursday night for dinner at... earle swensens again! i'm on love with their salad buffet, and am glad to intro it to tini, who i'm sure will drag rock for some salad loving too! :)

at 1030pm and she's not even close to being sleepy!
not much difference eh? the top was new year 2008 at fish&co, the bottom is last thursday!
on saturday after springcleaning the woodlands room we went to simei for baby elisa's cukur rambut.
and then off to simpang for dinner with the faiz/sheila duo again!

friday 5ive
lunch @ McD, stopped by the takababyfair for a bit, retreated to the nursery on level 3 and then omgwthbrb thegirl slept while i pushed her around in the stroller! may i add this rarely happens as she'd always need me to dodoi her to sleep.. and usually when i dodoi her to sleep and attempt to put her slowly in the stroller, she'll wake up screaming?!
so anyway, we trooped to paragon after that where ianian was lulled to sleep at the nursery heh, and the mommies had breeze windowshopping. mandatory stop at vitakids to stock up on the organix munchies and then to starbucks. and then i got hungry so fish&co it is.. where i satisfied my monthlong craving for swordfish collllaaaaaah!
dahlia sayang, can dont be so garang anot? girl cannot be so garang tau! nanti ibu susah.. nanti ibu will have heartattack like your nyai a few yrs ago, when your nyai asked me when i will settle down.. ibu said "when i turn 35, ma!" :)

when i epppp at her, she eppppps me back!
she's really been a handful, my little girl. and i'm actually glad i get to see it everyday now. i never know when it's too early/late to start discipling (theboy always says that i'll be the bad parent) but he's had his fair share of NO DAHLIAAAA CANNOT!!
but she tames down quite immediately at night when i switch off the main light, switch on the nightlight and lay down with her on our bed. that's the trick to put her to sleep.. she'd need to roll around on ours before going to deep sleep. and last night when i was rubbing her back, something she absolutely loves (and me too!) telling her not to be so notti in the day.. she gave me the sweetest smile with a slight giggle! how to be angry at her all the time tell me? -_-
anyway, i cant resist getting her a barney bagpack from my takababyfair spree last week.

today we took a little trip down memory lane, to where we first heard her little meek cries. where she pooped sweet smelling poop all over the weighing scale which guarantees and confirms that she's ayah's little baby. where i almost KO-ed in the toilet after delivering her coz i action gung-ho only hehe.
it's been exactly 11 mths! her little meek cries are now attention seeking screams. her sweet smelling poop can lawan her ayah's and i'm not KO-ing just yet.. in fact i'm enjoying life at home! :)

so ayah keeps her occupied..

feels nice to wake up on a Monday morning and find an sms from a new mommie AND THEN being able to visit newbaby and newmommie straight away.. no monday blues! :) congrats to BFF maisarah and asid for the little bundle of joy! like finally, one of the geng with a baby! now i simply cant wait for raya coz we'll be zipping around with the babies hehe.
speaking of zipping around.. dahlia and ibu's been doing just that lately. and even managed to be patriotic singaporeans and escape to malacca for a weekend!

4 days being highly sedated with dhamol, salbutamol, axymocilin, iliadin and something else that i cant really remember
4 days of dry diaper changes
4 days of cold water treatment trying to bring down the fever
3 days of urgent leave
3 days drinking nothing more than 300mls of milk in total
3 days of eating nothing but gerber star puffs only
3 days of trying to feed pedialyte pops
3 visits to kk a&e
breakfast @ madras new woodlands, after our first a&e visit early sunday morning. she's always chirpier after an a&e visit.
wearing clothes as airy as possible on monday
2nd a&e visit on monday night ard 2330hrs. breathing became heavy and noisy and loud. photo taken at 1am waiting for our observation hour to be over
manjafying to nyai when her temp was high and her ibu was high-strung
midnight spongedown on tuesday night
red puffy eyes and nose with nonstop drooling coz the throat's too hot to swallow
project rendam the baby @ lolak's after 3rd a&e visit
still slightly active despite being heavily drugged at this point

the past few days have been leaving my mental insides haphazardous. i hope this weekend's retail theraphy date with d, billa and ianian will be fun :)
